San Diego Holi 2023
Bringing Colors of Joy and Unity: Akshaya Patra San Diego Chapter Celebrates Holi Festival with Enthusiasm and a Commitment to Ending Child Hunger. On March 6th, our San Diego chapter brought together community members to celebrate the Indian festival of Holi with great enthusiasm and joy. The event was a huge success, with attendees celebrating Indian culture and traditions while raising awareness and funds for Akshaya Patra’s mission to provide nutritious meals to needy children. To ensure a safe celebration, Non-toxic Holi colors were sponsored by Kulture Khazana.
Our Chapters are the backbone of our organization. They are made up of dedicated volunteers who are working professionals, many of whom have families and busy lives. Despite their busy schedules, they have a passion for giving back to their communities and are committed to making a difference.
Through their tireless efforts, they help to raise awareness and funds for the 2 million children Akshaya Patra is feeding daily. Their hard work and dedication is what allows Akshaya Patra to continue to grow and feed more children, while keeping expenses low. This means that more of your donation goes directly to the children who need it most.
