MD/DC/VA Gala 2023
We are thrilled to announce that our first Gala of the year was a resounding success, with over 250 distinguished guests from DC, MD & VA coming together to support our vision of eradicating child hunger in India and ensuring that no child misses out on education due to hunger. The event was graced by esteemed speakers such as Vinodh Bhat (CoFounder, JioSaavn), Rajiv Jain (Former CEO of Akshaya Patra USA), and Srivatsan Rajan (Vice Chairman of the Board, Akshaya Patra USA), who shared their valuable insights and inspired the audience. The event was hosted by Savita Jain, who, along with Rahul Jain, led an enthusiastic pledge drive. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us in making this Gala outstanding.
Our Chapters are the backbone of our organization. They are made up of dedicated volunteers who are working professionals, many of whom have families and busy lives. Despite their busy schedules, they have a passion for giving back to their communities and are committed to making a difference.
Through their tireless efforts, they help to raise awareness and funds for the 2 million children Akshaya Patra is feeding daily. Their hard work and dedication is what allows Akshaya Patra to continue to grow and feed more children, while keeping expenses low. This means that more of your donation goes directly to the children who need it most.
