Why Donate To Akshaya Patra?
Donating to the Akshaya Patra Foundation is not only a way of helping children but also a way of giving something life-changing to them. Through donations received, we help over 2.35 million children in India, who need nutrition, which will eventually help the children break the cycle of poverty.
Donations received in the USA are used to provide Mid-day meals to children in India. The Akshaya Patra Foundation’s mid-day meal program works towards eliminating classroom hunger.
You can also contribute to this greater cause with your efforts by volunteering to raise awareness on the issue of classroom hunger and fundraise for providing hot, nutritious meals to the children.
