Ukrainian Relief Efforts

The escalating conflict in Ukraine has had dire humanitarian consequences on millions of children and their families.  Their inability to access basic necessities has only further compounded the tragic impact the war has had on fleeing Ukrainians and their families.  Close to 8 million Ukrainian children are now facing unprecedented levels of food insecurity.

 

Akshaya Patra Foundation UK recently dispatched close to 20,000 meals and is preparing to be stationed at the Ukrainian-Poland border, Ground Zero, in the coming weeks.  Akshaya Patra’s Para Prabhu will be making the 20 hour journey, in an Akshaya Patra van, to cook a minimum of 150,000-200,000 meals.
